<p>Gentler limits, improved spelling feedback, and a new mini-lesson.</p> <ul> <li>Practice UI now defaults to one session a day, with parental override for more sessions.</li> <li>Phonetically coherent misspellings (&quot;fone&quot; for &quot;phone&quot;, &quot;necst&quot; for &quot;next&quot;) are now graded / evaluated more holistically. Grapheme-replacement on the misspelled piece is explicitly guided, but the correct phonetic match is acknowledged.</li> <li>Added a mini-lesson, <a href="https://letterspractice.com/curriculum/lesson/bed">Making our bed</a>, which uses the word <em>bed</em> as a mnemonic to distinguish <code>b</code> <code>d</code> symmetry. Runs ahead of introduction of letter <code>b</code>.</li> <li>Tweaks to the scheduler&#39;s response to mistakes. Previously the mistaken item was over-practiced in the short term.
